Wart and Skin Lesion Removal

Professional diagnosis with digital dermatoscopy and state-of-the-art technology for a safe and effective procedure

Safe medical treatment without scars

Not all "warts" are the same

What we commonly call "warts" can be different types of skin lesions. Each has distinct causes and requires specific treatment. That is why a medical evaluation is fundamental before any procedure.

At Border Health we use a digital dermatoscope — specialized equipment that allows us to analyze your lesions with precision before any procedure.

Preventive Health

What your skin might be telling you

Skin tags (soft hanging warts) can be more than a cosmetic nuisance. Medical studies have shown their relationship with:

Insulin resistance
Alterations in glucose levels
Metabolic syndrome
Predisposition to Type 2 diabetes

"Especially if you also present acanthosis nigricans (darkening and thickening of skin on neck, armpits, or groin), these could be early signs of metabolic problems."

At Border Health we not only remove lesions — we evaluate your comprehensive health to provide complete care.

You can schedule an in-person assessment or send us photos via WhatsApp for an initial estimate.

We Resolve Your Doubts

Local anesthesia is applied. You may feel slight discomfort, but it is very tolerable.

With proper technique, scarring is minimal. CO2 Laser has the best cosmetic results.

The ones we remove do not return in the same place. However: skin tags can appear in other areas if there is insulin resistance; filiform warts can recur if the immune system does not control HPV; seborrheic keratosis can appear in new areas due to genetics.

Cost depends on number, size, location, and technology required. We handle packages. You can send us photos for an initial estimate.

Most are resolved in one session. If you have many lesions, more than one may be required.

Small lesions: 5-7 days. Larger ones or with CO2 Laser: 2-3 weeks.
